Our Story
Church on the Ridge was founded in 2003. For Charlie Salmon, it was a dream that was birthed from what he felt was a prompting from God, that said, “Stop doing the easy thing and do the hard thing for Me.” For him and his family that meant starting in a new location and making radical changes in his lifestyle. It didn't take long to decide just what kind of church they would start. "We knew God was saying to start a church for people who typically would not go to church - a place where the non-essential elements of traditional church, which are often barriers to spiritual seekers, would be removed so more people could get connected to one another and explore the claims of Christ." This vision began a journey for the Salmons that eventually took them halfway across the country to the small, yet rapidly growing town of Snoqualmie, WA. COTR started with one service in 2003 and today, because of the many people who have joined the journey, it is now impacting thousands of lives throughout the valley. We are glad you’re here and would love to include you in this most exciting life of following Christ wherever He takes us.
