New to Community Groups?

If you are new to Community Groups or Church on the Ridge, we have some great ways to introduce you to Community Groups and allow you to get connected and learn more about the church. There are three activities that you will want to check out -- each are led by senior members of the church.

Newcomers Connection Lunch

Each first Sunday of the month Pastor Charlie and his wife Sandy host a lunch for anyone who is new to COTR. During the lunch we’d love to get to know you better. Charlie will give a brief presentation of the history of COTR, our mission, vision, and core values. We have lunch and safe, fun activities for your children.

Starting Point

Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point is a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. The groups meet for about 10 weeks and explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story.

Who is the class for?
  • Those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity
  • Those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while

Where does it take place?

Starting Point is a small group environment that meets on a weekly basis for about 10 weeks in both our Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
